Way Back Then named one of the year’s best picture books

Way Back Then, written by Neil Christopher and illustrated by Germaine Arnattaujuq (Arnaktaujok), has been named one of the best international picture books of 2015, as selected by Kirkus Reviews!

In their review of the book, Kirkus said: “…these snippets together create a storyscape that, like the art they accompany, reflects harmonious connections with both the mythic past and the land itself….cold of setting but warm of spirit.”
