Two films based on Inhabit titles to screen at Bay Street Film Festival

The Amautalik and The Orphan and the Polar Bear, two short films based on Inhabit Media titles, will both screen Saturday, September 6, at the Bay Street Film Festival in Thunder Bay! You can find all the details on the festival’s website.

In The Orphan and the Polar Bear, a neglected orphan is adopted by a polar bear elder. Under the bear’s guidance, the little orphan learns the skills he will need to survive and provide for himself. The nine-minute animated film was based on our book of the same title.

Based on a story from Stories of the Amautalik, the stopmotion animated film The Amautalik tells the story of an orphan boy and a little girl who encounter one of the most feared land spirits from Inuit oral history.
