It is with great sadness that we share the news of the death of Serapio Ittusardjuat—an author, language specialist, and cultural advisor. Serapio participated in our Inuktitut terminology meetings advising on terms about weather, hunting, and traditional knowledge. He was involved in the Tunngasuvvingat Inuit in Ottawa and Toronto. He also performed in schools and provided presentations throughout Ontario. He has tremendously contributed his knowledge about walruses and Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit to the researcher community in Igloolik.

He will be missed.
