I Am a Rock Named One of 49th Shelf Kids’ Spring 2024 Top Grade Picks!

49th Shelf Kids has highlighted a number of picture books in their Spring 2024 selections, including I Am a Rock written by Ashley Qilavaq-Savard and illustrated by Pelin Turgut.

Coordinated by the Association of Canadian Publishers’ Children’s Committee, “all books highlighted are from among the best new titles from Canadian publishers.”

Top Grade‘s editorial coordinator, educator Spencer Miller, states “I love how this book challenges young readers to expand the way they think about nature and living things. After reading, take your students outdoors to search for a pet rock of their own.”
