The Fawn Featured on CBC Kids Reads 2026 Longlist

The Fawn, written by Etua Snowball and illustrated by Shuggie Crossland, is featured on the CBC Kids Reads 2026 longlist!

This is the fourth year that “Canada Reads for kids” has returned to celebrate Canada’s best picture books.

The shortlist of the five books in the running to be crowned this year’s literary champion will be revealed on September 24, 2026.
