I Am A Rock and Benny the Bananasaurus Rex are both featured on the CBC Kids Reads 2025 longlist!

The third edition of ‘Canada Reads for kids’ returns to celebrate five of Canada’s best picture books. 

The year 2025 marks the 3rd edition of CBC Kids Reads. The shortlist of five Canadian picture books in the running to be crowned this year’s champion will be revealed on Sept. 17, each championed by a CBC Kids friend.
