Dad, I Miss You and The Fawn Named on the Read Indigenous for Children 2026 List from Toronto Public Library

Toronto Public Library has highlighted a number of must-read titles for children in 2026, including Dad, I Miss You, written by Nadia Sammurtok and illustrated by Simji Park, and The Fawn, written by Etua Snowball and illustrated by Shuggie Crossland.

Read Indigenous is a yearly list of titles written by Indigenous authors, writers, illustrators, and Knowledge Carriers. The titles have been selected by the Indigenous Advisory Council at Toronto Public Library.
