Strawberry Sundaes, written by Sarabeth Holden and illustrated by Emma Pedersen, is featured as a pick in the CBC Books article “6 Canadian picture books for kids to read this summer”!

“Sim loves his vegetables, just like his favourite dinosaur the stegosaurus — but he also loves to eat strawberries. In Strawberry Sundaes, Sim and his family adventure outside the city to pick strawberries and his mom starts to share how she used to pick berries growing up. Alongside his dino friend, Sim and his sister imagine what it was like for their mom to pick berries from a tundra in the Arctic as a kid.”
