In this bilingual Inuktitut/English book, Ilataaq just moved to a new community in the North with her parents and pup. Ilataaq has curly hair, brown skin, and big, beautiful eyes. At her new school, the kids have some questions about the things that make her look different. When Ilataaq talks about the kids’ questions with her mother, she learns about how special her differences are.
